Prof. Dongning Guo will give a Keynote Speech at the IEEE ICC 2015 Workshop on LTE in Unlicensed Bands (LTE-U) to be held on June 12, 2015 in London, UK.
The goal of the LTE-U workshop is to bring together academics, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the opportunities, challenges and potential solutions for operation of the latest cellular technologies, referred to as Long Term Evolution (LTE), in the unlicensed spectrum bands. To accommodate rapid growth of mobile traffic and cope with the scarcity of licensed spectrum, today's mobile network operators often offload part of their traffic onto the unlicensed bands using WiFi, which is inferior to LTE in spectral efficiency.
