CS PhD Funding

CS PhD students are guaranteed funding through the 5th year of the program. In the first year, students are supported through TGS Fellowships. In subsequent years, students may be funded through Research Assistantships (RA), Teaching Assistantships (TA), or external fellowships. PhD students may work no more than 20 hours per week from all sources. Permission to Work

PhD students who have a TA, GA, or RA assignment or who have a fellowship and would like to take on an additional assignment must submit a Permission to work request with TGS. PhD students may work no more than 20 hours per week from all sources, including assistantships.
