Pappas Delivers Invited Keynote Address at Sensometrics 2014

Prof. Thrasos Pappas gave an invited keynote address at Sensometrics 2014, which was held July 29-August 1, 2014 in Chicago, IL. The topic of his presentation was, titled, "Visual Analysis and Compression: Focus on Texture Similarity."

The Sensometric Society Conference is a biennial event that brings together statisticians, psychologists, sensory scientists, and market researchers with a common interest in solving problems of measurement and data analysis in the areas of sensory and consumer sciences. This year's event was attended by over 150 researchers from around the world. The conference theme this year was: "Data that Works in the City that Works."
