Description

 

Description:  Soft Robotics is an emerging field that combines the principles of robotics and materials science to create robots that are flexible, adaptable, and safe to interact with humans and the environment. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Soft Robotics, including materials, sensing and actuation mechanisms, design principles, and applications. Students will learn about different types of soft robots, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electroactive actuators, and their applications in areas such as bio-inspired robotics, wearable technology, and soft grippers.
