MECH_ENG 395: Vehicle Dynamics and Design

Description

Fundamental understanding of vehicle handling and ride performance; Dynamics and stability of vehicles; Modeling of the behavior of vehicles and vehicle subsystems including tires, steering, suspension and brakes;  Aerodynamics of vehicles; Electric vehicles; Emphasis on problem formulation and problem solution.
