A portion of Lisa Wissner-Slivka and Benjamin Slivka Junior Professor of Computer Science Prof. Oliver (Ollie) Cossairt's Ph.D. research on spherical cameras was featured in a recent NY times article, titled, "Photography Without a Lens? Future of Images May Lie in Data."
Prof. Cossairt is working on the project as part of the Corporate Sponsorship Grant of for $100k received from Rambus Inc. on "Theoretical simulation and study of performance tradeoffs and bounds in computational diffractive sensors and imagers."
