  Learning to learn – exploring tools for success

  Biography
  

  Mudit Agrawal works as a Principal Scientist Lead in the Mixed Reality HoloLens team at Microsoft, USA. There he leads the efforts in iris recognition in biometrics, and health diagnosis, and is responsible to carve out and explore mixed reality avenues both near and long term. His expertise lies in the areas of machine learning, digital image processing, document analysis and biometrics. Apart from this, researching neuroscience, evolution, human history, astronomy, theatre, and writing keep him occupied in his free time.

  Mudit has a PhD from University of Maryland, College Park, holds 9 US patents, has published more than a dozen international papers, book chapters, is an organizing team member of the top international conferences in his area of expertise, and a mentor for startups and individuals.
