Career Development

The MBP offers students a comprehensive Professional Development course (MBiotech 506) taught by Natalie Champagne, Assistant Director of External Relations and Career Management.  This course aims to provide students with the professional development skills necessary to succeed in the biotechnology industry. From an applied perspective, this course is designed to assist students in understanding the career development process in order to make informed and appropriate occupational and educational decisions. Students learn how to integrate self-knowledge into occupational development.

MBiotech 506 is a required course that has a modular format. Students need to complete a total of 10 independent modules from a variety of areas relevant to the career and professional development. In addition, students in the course are informed of various externally-hosted events, which are posted as they are identified.
