Performance Evaluation Process
Performance Excellence, Northwestern's annual performance review process, is the program for annual staff performance reviews. While it helps you accomplish your goals, it also encourages leaders and their teams to set priorities for what needs to be accomplished and how things might be done. This results in greater workplace effectiveness, efficiency, and engagement.
All new staff are expected to set objectives and goals within the first month of work. Please consult the Goal-Setting Essentials guide and Goal Sample Library resource for assistance, as well as reach out to your supervisor to schedule a meeting to discuss goals before entering them in myHR Learn.
To access the Performance Excellence online tool go to myHR Self Service and select the Learning and Performance tile, then click on the Me tab.
