Cohen Commons Faculty and Staff Dining Room

The Jerome B. Cohen Commons Dining Room serves as an opportunity for faculty and staff to collaborate and connect over lunch. It is not open to the public; it is a private dining facility for Northwestern faculty, administrative staff, and postdoctoral scholars.

Due to capacity limitations, Cohen Commons is no longer open to graduate students, except when they are dining in the company of a faculty member.

Take-out service is available for faculty, administrative staff, and postdoctoral scholars only.

Cohen Commons will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

Griddle: Veggie and Cheese Flatbread Pizza

WEDNESDAY, May 29

Soup: Cauliflower Cheddar Soup
Entrée: Chicken Picatta: chicken breast dipped in egg batter, sautéed, and topped with capers and a lemon garlic butter sauce
Accompaniment: Pasta Primavera, Steamed Green Beans, Steamed Carrots
Griddle: Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza

Entrée: Pork Loin with Apricot Glaze: Pork loin roasted with chipotle peppers, garlic, cumin, and coriander, and finished with an apricot glaze
Accompaniment: Roasted Chimichurri Cauliflower, Roasted Carrots, Smashed Black Beans
Griddle: Chicken Bruschetta Pizza

Reservations

Lunchtime Reservations

Reservations are not required for individuals or small groups.

To reserve a dining area for groups of four or more, please make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Email cohen.commons@northwestern.edu or call 1-5550 to reserve a table.

Private Events

The Cohen Commons space may be reserved for private events outside of normal lunch hours.

Payment Options

Effective January 7, 2019, lunch is $12 per person. Cohen Commons accepts cash, major debit/credit cards, or meal vouchers.

Price includes one pass through the buffet. This includes one entrée, single servings of the side dishes, salad bar items and dessert, and one cold and hot beverage.

Meal vouchers can be obtained by e-mailing cohen.commons@northwestern.edu.

Please provide a chartstring and the number of vouchers you would like. Please allow 48 hours to process your meal voucher request.
