Cohen Commons Faculty and Staff Dining Room

The Jerome B. Cohen Commons Dining Room serves as an opportunity for faculty and staff to collaborate and connect over lunch. It is not open to the public; it is a private dining facility for Northwestern faculty, administrative staff, and postdoctoral scholars. Children are not permitted.

Due to capacity limitations, Cohen Commons is not open to graduate students, except when they are dining in the company of a faculty member.

Take-out service is available for faculty, administrative staff, and postdoctoral scholars only.

Dining Hours

Regular lunch service is Monday-Friday 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Cohen Commons will be closed for lunch service on Friday, October 14 due to a private event.

Friday, October 7

Reservations

Lunchtime Reservations

Reservations are not required for individuals or small groups.

To reserve a dining area for groups of four or more, please make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Email cohen.commons@northwestern.edu or call 7-2344 to reserve a table.

Private Events

The Cohen Commons space may be reserved for private events outside of normal lunch hours.

Payment Options

Effective Fall 2022, lunch is $16 per person. Cohen Commons accepts major debit/credit cards or meal vouchers.

Price includes one pass through the buffet. This includes one entrée, single servings of the side dishes, salad bar items and dessert, and one cold and hot beverage.

Meal Vouchers

Meal vouchers can be obtained by e-mailing cohen.commons@northwestern.edu.

Please provide a chartstring and the number of vouchers you would like. Please allow 48 hours to process your meal voucher request.
