Jyothi Swaroop graduated with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India. During his undergraduate studies, he was an active member of the college robotics club, working on projects ranging from line-following robots to mobile robots for terrace farming. His interest in SLAM led him to implement various algorithms for autonomous navigation in underground mines. He also interned at the Indian Institute of Science, working on exploring Correction in Landmark maps using odometry.

After graduation, Jyothi joined Addverb Technologies as part of the Fleet Management team. He contributed to projects across five countries, gaining hands-on experience in traffic management, job scheduling, and solving Multi-Agent Path Planning (MAPP) problems for fleets of up to 60 robots. He also led the development of fleet management systems for vertical sortation and industrial line robots, working hands-on with hardware and mechanical teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

He later joined Telexistence in Tokyo, where he applied his skills in Multi-Agent Systems to support Autonomous Forklifts operating in Japan’s compact warehouses.

While continuing and expanding his interest in SLAM, Jyothi aims to deepen his understanding of control systems and reinforcement learning and apply them effectively to real-world robotics applications.
