Daniel graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with 3 separate bachelor's degrees. He received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science (and a minor in Business).

His love for robotics began in high school after participating in the BOTBALL robotics competition. Creating something that could move and think for itself, using LEGO and metal pieces, made him wonder about how much he could do if he had the skillset to create a real robot.

His goal is not only to conduct research and help advance the field of robotics, but also to teach and inspire others to pursue this amazing field, just as he was inspired to do.
