2022-2023

James graduated from Louisiana State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Robotics Engineering. While at LSU, he worked in the Innovation in Control and Robotics Engineering (iCORE) Lab where he focused on using computer vision techniques, along with a robotic manipulator, to identify and polish surface defects on different composite materials. Furthermore, during his time at LSU, he also completed an internship and co-op with L3Harris where he focused on electrical manufacturing and design of autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) and defense aircraft. He is currently most interested in marine robotics and the role that household robotics could play in the future.
