McCormick Computer Labs
McCormick IT manages several computer labs in the Technological Institute and the Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Center.
McCormick Engineering Analysis Lab
Located in Tech MG47, this 26-seat PC lab is available to all McCormick students. It features a scanner, B/W printer, and projector with laptop and audio hookup. For reservation requests please use our self-scheduling option below.
- In your Outlook calendar schedule a meeting with its location at MCC MG47 E1 Lab with address of 2145Shrdn-00-MG47@northwestern.edu
- If reserving in a series of days, you must check each day in the series for potential booking conflicts. Also check for warnings in the calendar events that appear in Outlook related to scheduling conflicts.
- If software is required that is not in MG47, please open a request for assistance at mccit@northwestern.edu . We require at least 2 weeks advanced notice.
- During the event no food or drink are allowed in MG47.

Chemical & Biological Engineering First Lab
Located in Tech E117, this 8-seat PC lab is co-sponsored by the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering. It features a B/W printer, and a large 65" Samsung monitor with laptop hookup. Additional Solstice capabilities have been added to allow users to connect and share content wirelessly to the TV using a laptop, iPad or other mobile device. This lab is available to all McCormick students during the day, but access is restricted to Chemical & Biological Engineering students after hours. Bodeen Design Studio
Located in Tech C115, this lab is for exclusive use by students of the Department of Materials Science & Engineering. It features 5 PCs, a B/W printer, and a laser projector with laptop hookup. Additional Solstice capabilities allow users to connect and share content wirelessly to the projector using a laptop or other mobile device. MSE Undergraduate LAB
Located in Cook Hall Room 2022, this lab is for exclusive use by students of the Department of Materials Science & Engineering. It features 7 PCs, and a projector with laptop hookup plus the main podium also has a document camera.
