Carter earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University in 2023. During his time at ISU, he gained valuable experience as a Parallel-Coop at CAT Robotics, where he focused on developing data analysis pipelines and simulations for V2X, along with desktop software. Through various projects at CAT he also gained experience in applying computer vision and computational geometry techniques. In his final year, Carter served as an undergraduate research assistant at the Intelligent Ground Vehicles Lab, contributing to the development of a user-friendly framework built on top of ROS for both graduate research and undergraduate coursework. His primary interests revolve around computer vision, localization, and navigation.
