2022-2023

Katie graduated in 2021 from the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in physics and a minor in computer science. She spent the year prior to this program working for the ATLAS Experiment at CERN, and has previously interned at Caltech and NASA-JPL. She has experience with reinforcement learning and particle filters in robotic systems from undergraduate coursework. Her current interests are navigation, SLAM, and machine learning, and she is excited to learn more about these topics (and more!) over the upcoming year.
