Ava graduated in 2022 with a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

During internships at piece-picking robotics startup RightHand Robotics, Ava established a data framework and wrote queries for data analysis and visualization. She also worked in production, assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components for robotic work cells. Ava also interned at IFF in R&D, where she wrote software for a variety of projects, including a smart mirror and smart glasses. Further, her undergraduate capstone involved designing, building, and programming a reusable robotic weather balloon capable of bidirectional movement through variable buoyancy.

Ava is excited about exploring how robots can improve the workplace and quality of life. Her interests include industrial robotics, medical robotics, and artificial intelligence.
