Biography
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Instruction in of Computer Science & Engineering at Northwestern University. I was recently a PhD student at the UC Berkeley School of Information, where i was advised by Tapan Parikh. Some of my current research (and non-research) projects include: Local Ground, an online data collection, mapping and visualization platform that allows users to learn and use data skills in support of community research projects. Code 510, an after-school summer program, hosted at the iSchool, to support young people (ages 14 - 21) in designing and building their own technology projects.
