Research Interests

Casey J. Ankeny, PhD is an Associate Professor of Instruction and the Director of the MS Program in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. She is investigating cyber-based student engagement strategies in flipped and traditional biomedical engineering courses as well as the implementation of standards-based grading with reflection. She aspires to understand and improve student attitude, achievement, and persistence in student-centered courses.
