VIDEOS: Architectural Engineering and Design Student Profiles

Meet Mehri Paydar and Corey Bertelsen, students in the Architectural Engineering Design program at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science. Both students study architecture under Laurence Booth, McCormick’s Richard C. Halpern/Rise International Distinguished Architect in Residence and both are excellent examples of the whole-brain™ engineers McCormick strives to foster: in addition to being engineers, Mehri is a former professional ballet dancer, and Corey is an accomplished musician. Both found new experiences in the AED program’s Berlin trip, where they studied under world-renowned architect Helmut Jahn. Watch their videos to learn more.
