Northwestern Engineering Staff Members Honored for Service

Staff members were recognized for five to 20 years of service

Northwestern Engineering honored 19 staff members on November 8 as part of the 2018 McCormick Staff Service Recognition Awards. The annual program, launched in 2004, recognizes staff members who have dedicated years of service to the school.

“I look forward to this event because it gives me a chance to thank all of our staff who have not only chosen to work at McCormick and help make our school great – they have chosen to grow their careers here,” said Julio M. Ottino, Northwestern Engineering dean. “These milestones of five, 10, 20, sometimes even more than 30 years, are proof of a dedication that is increasingly uncommon.”

Richard Marzec, senior user support specialist, Department of Mechanical Engineering; George Nejmeh, program assistant 3, Master of Science in Information Technology Program; and Stephen Slocombe, systems administrator associate, Information Technology.
