Julie White

Associate Dean, Administration, Finance, Facilities, and Planning

Julie White serves as chief financial and administrative officer for McCormick. Her responsibilities include the administrative infrastructure support of McCormick's teaching and research mission, including:

  • Budget management and resource allocation
  • Accounting
  • Procurement
  • Faculty and staff payroll
  • Staff organization and performance management
  • Facilities liaison and space
  • The McCormick Customer Service Center
  • Information technology

Before joining McCormick in 2021, Julie was the Executive Administrator of the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. There she was responsible for the Department’s budget development and finances, strategic planning, research administration, clinical practice operations, human resources, academic affairs, space and facilities administration, information technology, faculty support and initiatives supporting the tripartite mission.

Prior to her time at the University of Chicago, Julie held a number of roles with increasing responsibility at Stanford School of Medicine. She received her BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Washington.
