Pia Opulencia is currently VP of Product, US at Evive, focusing on personalized messaging to improve benefits utilization and health outcomes. Prior to Evive, Opulencia was VP of Product at Hologram Inc. where she led product development for a global cellular platform for the Internet of Things (IoT), reaching more than 196 countries and 550 carriers. Opulencia specializes in product development of Analytics and AI software applying her knowledge as Director of Technical Product at Narrative Science and Analytics Product Manager at Relativity leveraging her expertise in predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
She holds several patents pertaining to automatic generation of narratives from data using communication goals and narrative analytics. She is also published in the Journal of Digital Imaging for her research on semantic terminology for lung nodule images.
Opulencia earned her BA in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science, Data Mining from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She also mentors at Pathrise, focusing on product, strategy and operations by creating customized product educational plans and providing interview guidance.
