Research Interests

Prof. Huang enjoys integrating education and research to enhance learning experience for his students and himself. In research, his group uses chemical principles and tools to discover new materials, advance materials processing, and they aim to make materials innovations for better living. Some recent examples include chemical modification of respiratory droplets, carbon based nanomaterials, bulk nanostructured materials, and new forms of colloidal particles for energy storage, water treatments and personal care. Through teaching, they aim to develop intuition, inspire creativity and bring the best out of students and themselves.
