Biography
Evan Boyd has been a leading contributor to sports analytics over the last 10 years. He is currently a data scientist with the Golden State Warriors, building predictive models for in-game strategy, player and team forecasting, and scouting. Prior to his work with Warriors, Evan was a lead data scientist and analyst at Stats Perform and an analyst at ESPN. As a live statistical analyst, Evan has covered many major sporting events, including the 2018 World Series, Super Bowl LIV, and the men’s and women's March Madness tournaments. Evan teaches Natural Language Processing and Topics in Data Engineering for MLDS.
