2016 EECS Annual Awards Winners

The accomplishments in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science were celebrated at the 2016 EECS Annual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 7 in Tech L440.

Prof. Alan Sahakian, Chair of EECS hosted the event, which saw Prof. Sara Sood, last year’s “Best Teacher” recipient, deliver a stimulating presentation, titled, "Inclusive Classrooms", that her unique goals as an educator, which included: preparing the students for what lies ahead, piquing their interest, encouraging collaboration, being a role model, and creating a safe/open environment in which students of all background levels can thrive.
