Kevin Chen Selected for KPCB Fellows Program

Kevin Chen, an EECS Computer Science student, has been selected for one of the premier fellowships in technology: the KPCB Fellows Program.

Kevin Chen, an EECS Computer Science student, has been selected for one of the premier fellowships in technology: the KPCB Fellows Program.

The program received nearly 2,500 applications from over 200 universities and conducted more than 600 interviews, which resulted in fewer than 3% of applicants being picked for the program. Meet the Engineering Fellows 2015

Chen is an member of the Delta Lab, advised by Prof. Haoqi Zhang. He is interested in sociotechnical connections, crowdsourcing, artificial intelligence, and algorithms. Chen’s research explores new prototyping interactions made available by Google Glass.

The KPCB Fellows Program is the top engineering program for young people interested in technology and entrepreneurship in the Valley. The program pairs top engineering students from across the country with leading edge startups in Silicon Valley. Their work experience is additionally supplemented with incredible events and programming led by CEOs and executives from KPCB portfolio companies and KPCB Partners including Design Partner John Maeda (formerly President of the Rhode Island School of Design), Mike Abbott (Former Twitter VP of Engineering and on Obama's team to help fix HealthCare.gov), and John Doerr (a legendary Venture Capitalist who is well-known for helping build Amazon, Google, Twitter, and many other companies).
