Senior Director of Strategic Projects
Jeff Stiers is senior director of strategic projects at the McCormick School of Engineering and a member of Northwestern Engineering’s senior leadership team. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives across the school and oversees the data analytics team, which measures and demonstrates the impact of McCormick’s work.
Since joining Northwestern in 2016, Jeff has played a key role in several of the school’s highest-profile strategic initiatives. He first helped lead the Computer Science Department’s Transformation effort and then joined the Office of the Dean in 2020 to manage a portfolio of strategic projects, including the creation and launch of the MBAi joint program with the Kellogg School, McCormick’s contributions to the Northwestern Network for Collaborative Intelligence and efforts to expand the school’s relationship with other Northwestern schools and external partners.
Throughout his time at Northwestern, Jeff has worked across academic, research, and administrative units to advance initiatives that strengthen the school’s educational and research mission. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
