Associate Dean for Strategy, Marketing, and External Relations
Kyle Delaney is associate dean for strategy, marketing, and external relations for the McCormick School of Engineering.
He serves as chief of staff to the dean, leading strategic initiatives that advance the school's overall strategy, including new program development, long-range planning, and integration across units. He also oversees staff operations for the MS programs, connecting the student experience from admissions through alumni engagement. He additionally oversees marketing and communications, spanning strategy, external relations, and fundraising communications.
Kyle has been a member of the McCormick community since 2005. During this time, he has led a comprehensive rebranding of Northwestern Engineering, articulating Northwestern’s “whole-brain engineering” approach and leading significant improvements in media coverage of engineering research at Northwestern.
Kyle is a proud alumnus of Butler University, where he served as president of the Alumni Association and as a University Trustee.
