VIEW ALL COURSE TIMES AND SESSIONS

Description

Today, the amount of data that organizations collect is unprecedented. However, being able to find the “right” data and create innovative data analytics solutions is just the first challenge. The second challenge is being able to effectively visualize and tell stories with data to a variety of audiences, ranging from entry-level staff to executives.

The goal of this course is to provide future analytics and data science professionals with the practical skills needed to visualize data effectively and tell compelling stories with data. Students will learn the rules of data visualization, but also understand when and how to break these rules if necessary. Additionally, this course will cover the process of visualizing data, the psychology of data visualization, and the steps to build powerful data stories.
