MLDS 400: Everything Starts with Data

Description

This course provides a fundamental practical coverage of analytics. The focus of the course is to expose students to challenges and opportunities in analytics through several projects. The majority of the material and lecturing will be computer-based. 

Course Objectives:

1. Identify major components of an analytics-based project

2. Learn all processes involved

3. Meet with the deliverables

4. Work with 'the client'

5. Creatively think about potential business values of data
