Our system provides a variety of options for identifying specific entities within the McCormick School of Engineering. When identifying your department or program, you have the option of using the “shorthand combination” lockup, or using one of the Northwestern Engineering lockups and identifying your entity elsewhere on the piece. This may be dictated by space, format, or use, but in no circumstance should new logos or lockup versions be created. A few examples of how you can incorporate the identity are included below.

While the official name of a center or program can be used separately from the official lockup, the balance of emphasis should remain equal. We also encourage the use of full names, avoiding acronyms when possible.
