Take Your Daughters and Sons Out to Work Day

On Thursday, April 26, 2012 the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department participated in “Take Your Child out to Work Day”. Eight children came for the event and were escorted by four Civil and Environmental Engineering students, Karen Wang, Dan Lambson, Tony Vasquez, and Rose Milavitz. The activities included viewing the concrete canoe and steel bridge built by the ASCE student chapter members; making their very own concrete figurines in the lab and building structures with spaghetti and marshmallow. Fun times were had by all!
