Graduate Student Awarded for Research

Kevin Schwartzenberg Kevin Schwartzenberg, Ph.D. student in the Environmental Engineering and Science program, was awarded the 2013 Gradaute Student Award in Environmental Chemistry from the Division of Environmental Chemistry of the American Chemical Society. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.  He joined the EES program in Fall 2010.  Kevin's research is on "Photocatalytic reduction of CO2: Probing the link between absorption and catalytic activity in TiO2-based nanocomposites.  Professor Kimberly Gray is Kevin's advisor.
