Alumnus Received ISEE Distringuished Award

On February 14, 2012 Dr. Catherine Aimone-Martin was recognized by the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) with the Distinguished Service Award. The ISEE Distinguished Service Award, Society's highest service award of merit is given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of explosives engineering.
Dr. Aimone-Martin received her Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering from Northwestern in 1981 and is Professor Emeritus of Mineral Engineering at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and running her own blasting and vibration specialty firm.
