Prof. Karen Chou Advances to SEI Fellow

Prof. Karen Chou advances to Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Fellow. The SEI Fellow grade distinguishes members of ASCE as leaders and mentors in the profession. In order to qualify, fellows need to be actively involved in a local or national SEI chapter, be a licesend Structural Engineer, be nominated by an organizational entity of SEI, and have had responsible charge for a minimum of ten years of important industrial, business, construction, educational, editorial, research, or engineering society activity, requiring the knowledge and background gained from engineering training and experience.

The 2020 SEI Fellows will be recognized during the Closing Plenary Lunch, 11:30am – 1:45pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel.
