JeongYoon Lee
JeongYoon studied computer science and applied mathematics & statistics at Stony Brook University in New York and industrial engineering at Ajou University in Korea in her undergraduate.
While taking a data mining class a few years ago, her professor mentioned the black box AI model that humans cannot know the exact mechanism inside of the model but the computer gave us the correct answer, and this has led her into the AI field until now.
JeongYoon's pure interest is coming from making a model that thinks like a human brain. This can belong to basic AI architecture, robotics, or any other subjects of AI. She especially wants to experience some music industry or any medical industry related to neuroscience or cognitive science, but not only that, she wants to keep my mind open to find some interesting topic in my first quarter at Northwestern.
JeongYoon has research experience in writing survey papers in text-image matching and also have project experiences with ML and NLP.
