Karan Garkel
Karan is a graduate of Manipal University Jaipur, India, holding a B.Tech in Information Technology with a specialisation in Data Science, where he executed two major projects.
Karan developed a Deep Learning CNN model to diagnose Covid using chest X-ray scans with 98% accuracy. Further, he processed the leaf images of tomato plants to diagnose the blight disease. Karan has published two research papers based on these projects and now have a strong research interest in using image processing in the area of healthcare with deep learning networks.
In the ACM club Karan served as a mentor, teaching Python to juniors.
Karan has worked at several organizations using my AI skills. During his internship at a prestigious national organization, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the online education organization Careers360 published an article highlighting my contributions. At AICTE, he used his expertise in a broad range of tools to develop modules for Document and Speech translation, text translation in images and a messenger for Indian languages.
