Mechanical Engineering Graduate Students' Society (MEGSS)

The Mechanical Engineering Graduate Students' Society (MEGSS) is a group that includes all ME graduate students at Northwestern University. The purpose of MEGSS is to promote the overall well-being of the ME graduate student body.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a nationally recognized professional, educational, non-profit, and service organization dedicated to promoting interest in and encouraging women to pursue the fields of science and engineering.

EPIC

EPIC is an entrepreneurial interest group, composed of graduate and undergraduate students from across the University and its professional schools. EPIC has helped create a highly innovative course, the Life Sciences Innovation Program. This two-quarter medical technology development program teams graduate students from engineering, arts and sciences, business, and medical schools to develop a prototype, a business plan and patent application, starting from a clinical need.
