Chloe graduated with Honors of Highest Distinction from the University of California, San Diego, earning a B.S. in Mathematics (Statistics & Probability). Throughout her academic journey, she built a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data science while developing expertise in Python, R, SQL, and statistical modeling. Driven by a passion for transforming complex data into meaningful decisions, she is particularly interested in applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges. Her long-term vision is to bridge advanced AI technologies with enterprise innovation, enabling organizations to make smarter, more transparent, and data-driven decisions across industries.

Her research and professional experiences span manufacturing, enterprise AI, healthcare, and financial technology. During her internship at Zoomlion Heavy Industry, she developed machine learning models for predictive maintenance using industrial sensor data, helping improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency. At Broad U.S.A., she designed and deployed a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) assistant that transformed over 10,000 enterprise documents into an intelligent knowledge system, significantly reducing engineers’ information retrieval time. As a Data Scientist at SentiEdge Investment, she developed end-to-end generative AI pipelines for real-time market sentiment analysis, fine-tuned transformer-based language models, and deployed scalable machine learning systems on AWS. In addition, her independent research at UC San Diego explored the impact of state-level opioid policies on overdose mortality using panel data analysis and machine learning, reinforcing her belief that trustworthy AI begins with rigorous data and thoughtful model design.

Looking ahead, Chloe hopes to become an AI leader driving digital transformation across industries by helping organizations harness artificial intelligence to solve complex challenges, optimize operations, and make more informed decisions. She is excited to join the MLDS program to deepen her expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise-scale AI systems while collaborating with a diverse community of innovators. By combining technical innovation with a human-centered perspective, she hopes to develop intelligent systems that transform data into trusted decisions, empowering organizations to create lasting value for both businesses and society.
