Lily Trautman graduated from the University of Denver in 2025 with a B.S. in Computer Science. While an undergraduate, Lily worked as a research assistant in the DUSRI (Unmanned Systems Research Institute) lab, where she contributed to a secure asset tracking system applications, implementing machine learning models on Seeed Studio XIAO microcontrollers with Raspberry Pi networking and satellite fallback protocols.
Lily has held internships across both technical and analytical roles. As an AI Implementation Intern at Terrasset Management Group, she has researched, evaluated, and piloted AI and automation tools, designing workflow automations that streamlined meeting documentation, invoice processing, and internal communications for the project management team. At VTG, she worked as a Business Analyst Intern supporting a Department of Defense contract, analyzing user stories, facilitating backlog refinement, and leading user acceptance testing. Most recently, as a Software Engineering Intern at MaxAccel, she contributed to production software development and gained experience with collaborative engineering workflows.
Outside of academics, Lily is an amauture endurance athlete who runs half marathons and marathons, road bikes, and rock climbs. Her training is guided by the mentality that "it is a privilege to choose your challenges." She looks forward to deepening her technical skills through the Practicum and Capstone projects.
