Ryan Parks graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Applied Mathematics and is pursuing an MS in Machine Learning and Data Science.
During an AI internship at Normal Computing, he worked on agentic code generation for hardware design, with a focus on generating register-transfer level (RTL) code. His work involved reviewing research papers, replicating and designing agentic workflows, and communicating technical tradeoffs to his team. He has also worked on projects involving NFL and college football player-tracking data, simulation, and optimization.
His interests include sports analytics, predictive modeling, applied machine learning, and data-driven decision making. Outside of technical pursuits, Ryan enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and rock climbing.
