Adam Cooper graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computational Data Science, complemented by coursework in mathematics and engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a tutor, helping fellow engineering students master Python and C++ while strengthening his own technical foundation. Throughout his time at Michigan State, Adam developed proficiency in software development, data structures and algorithms, statistical analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Following graduation, Adam joined Ford Motor Company, where he completed internships focused on data analytics and artificial intelligence. At Ford, he designed and implemented data-driven solutions that leveraged machine learning and modern analytics to improve business processes and support strategic decision-making. These experiences allowed him to work with large-scale enterprise data, develop production-oriented software, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

This fall, Adam will begin the Master of Science in Machine Learning and Data Science program at Northwestern University. He is particularly interested in scalable AI systems, data engineering, and the application of machine learning to real-world problems. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Adam enjoys developing personal software projects and exploring new cultures through international travel, experiences that continue to fuel his curiosity and passion for lifelong learning.
