Amy Wang is from Michigan, graduated from Michigan State University in 2025 with a major in Statistics, and with a minor in Data Science. While at MSU, Amy worked as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant (ULA), where she supported faculty and students by leading review sessions, assisting in coursework, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Amy has a strong interest in data science and machine learning applications, particularly in applied research and analytics. She has worked on projects ranging from logistic regression and classification techniques to KNN implementations, cross-validation, and real-world data visualization. Outside of academics, Amy enjoys baking, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family as ways to manage stress and maintain balance. She hopes to continue developing her technical expertise and research skills in graduate school, with the long-term goal of advancing the field of data science through innovative applications and interdisciplinary collaboration.
