Miranda graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Accountancy and Data Science, along with a minor in Computer Science. Her undergraduate studies, research experiences, and internships have instilled in her the proficiency to analyze, optimize, and manage vast datasets. The profound insights derived from data have ignited her fervent curiosity, inspiring her to explore deeply in machine learning and data science.During her time at the UIUC School of Information Sciences, Miranda led the development of a risk detection system for online conversations, using NLP and a multi-class classification model to identify harmful speech. This project underscored her commitment to using technology for social good and ethics. Furthermore, her work as a Data Science Intern at Blinkle AI demonstrates her ability to engineer end-to-end machine learning pipelines to predict business outcomes.Miranda also showcased her versatility during her internship at CSC Global, where she automated a scalable ETL pipeline and designed a framework to improve the efficiency of e-Filing processes. Her experience at Illinois Business Consulting further highlights her ability to collaborate with diverse teams to deliver strategic recommendations on data-driven transformations for clients.Miranda approaches her new journey as a graduate student with eagerness, determined to develop a versatile skill set in technology, communication, and leadership to meet evolving market needs. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, which helps her clear her mind and think deeply.
