Rundong Li graduated from Wenzhou-Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Science with a concentration in Data Analytics, also completing part of his studies at Kean University in New Jersey. During his undergraduate years, he built a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, developing proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and MATLAB. His research spans machine learning, reinforcement learning, and mathematical modeling, including the extension of Long Short-Term Memory networks for multivariate time series forecasting, custom implementations of Q-learning and Deep Q-learning in the OpenAI MiniGrid environment, and the application of quaternion algebra to ellipsoid rotations. Rundong has presented his work at Kean University Research Day and published at the International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Data Modeling, and Intelligent Computing. With his interdisciplinary training and hands-on research experience, he is eager to further explore machine learning methodologies that connect theoretical rigor with practical applications in data-driven decision making.
