I graduated from Grinnell College in 2021 with a double major in Mathematics and Psychology and a concentration in Statistics. My interdisciplinary academic background gave me a strong foundation in quantitative methods while sparking my interest in how data can be used to understand complex human behaviors. This curiosity led me to research and consulting roles where I applied statistical methods to real-world problems. Some examples of projects I undertook include developing population-level estimates for health survey data to better inform student health policy on campus, and using Monte Carlo simulations to optimize demographic sampling for more efficient survey outreach at a policy research firm. Since graduation, I continued building on these skills professionally at WPP Media, where I served as a manager on the Marketing Intelligence Sciences team. In this role, I led cross-functional teams to build scalable data pipelines and dashboards, automated historically manual analytics workflows, and implemented data-driven decision-making processes for business stakeholders.

Through this work, I’ve seen firsthand both the immense potential of data and the challenges organizations face in using it effectively. My goal is to help bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern data science by identifying practical integration strategies and promoting a data-driven culture within organizations. With experience translating business needs into technical solutions, I’m especially interested in roles where data science leaders are empowered to work across functions and constraints to drive measurable impact. I’m excited to further build my technical toolkit through the MLDS program and learn how data science techniques can be applied in different domains. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me with a book in hand, trying out new restaurants, or enjoying a walk by Lake Michigan—my favorite way to recharge in Chicago!
