Class of 2026

Ashwath graduates today with a B.S in Statistics and Data Science. Ashwath has worked Software Engineering Internships at Salesforce, Tableau, and KLA. He served as the Internal Ambassador and Pledge Educator for the Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity, and as a Board Member of UCSB Dhadkan for three years.

Ashwath conducted research on forecasting the implied volatility of the S&P 500 Index using the Black-Scholes model and Recurrent Neural Networks, under the mentorship of Professor Tomoyuki Ichiba, Chair of the UCSB PSTAT Department. He also received the FRAP Grant Scholarship for his work.

Ashwath will be continuing his education at Northwestern University where he will be pursuing his Master’s Degree in Machine Learning and Data Science.
