Kaixuan Chen is a graduate student in Northwestern University's MLDS program. He holds a dual bachelor's degree in Statistics and Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a minor in History. His academic background reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation.
Prior to MLDS, Kaixuan completed internships in data analytics at Tencent and engaged in research involving bilingual translation models. He is passionate about natural language processing, statistical modeling, and building practical machine learning systems that address real-world problems.
Kaixuan is especially interested in machine learning engineering and hopes to apply his skills in industry. Outside of academics, he enjoys strength training, exploring cultural history, and creative writing.
