Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. At Mount Holyoke, she developed a theoretical data “toolbox” ranging from traditional parametric models to modern unsupervised learning algorithms, which culminated in a senior capstone project investigating implicit gender bias in media through NLTK sentiment analysis. Following her graduation in 2023, she worked as a business analyst in the utilities industry, where she generated reports, prepared interactive dashboards, and leveraged her interdisciplinary background to inform policy recommendations through data analytics. As an MLDS student, she is excited to refine her knowledge of Python for machine learning, with an emphasis on neural networks and non-parametric models.
